ayurveda & yoga

Relax. Rejuvenate. Refresh.

Ayurveda, the ancient Indian medicinal science has been recognized world over for helping treat the human mind, body and soul without any side effects. Literally meaning the Science of Life, Ayurveda places importance on balancing the three inherent bio-elements in a human body- Vata (air), Pitta (bile) and Kapha (phlegm). An imbalance among these leads to diseases in humans. It is important to determine which element is out of balance in your body before you begin the correction process through Ayurvedic and Yoga therapies.

Considered the sister science of Ayurveda, Yoga is one of the best forms of exercises, and along with Ayurveda helps keep the body supple and youthful, while also maintaining a state of mental calm and invoking the inner spirituality.

Meiveda has 2 expert in-house doctors and experienced yoga practitioners who will prescribe the treatment schedule for guests, ranging from 3 to 7 days or more, after doing a basic consultation of one’s physical and mental state.

Guests can also specify the treatments that they seek before arriving at the resort, based on which the doctors can tailor therapies to suit the duration of stay.

A total of 10 treatment rooms are available to make sure that there is no waiting time or delay, and guests receive treatment on time in a healthy, hygienic environment.
